She was born on 10 March 1969, in Constanța. She graduated in 1987 from Industrial High School No. 6 "Traian" in Constanța, and between 1987 and 1989 attended the Military School of Active Officers "Nicolae Bălcescu," specialising in Quartermaster Non-Commissioned Officers.

Career

After completing her military studies, she was assigned as clerk to the Mobilisation Officer within the 34th Mechanised Regiment, Constanța. Between 1991 and 1992, she served as cashier within the 243rd Electronic Warfare and Observation Brigade "Callatis."

Between 1992 and 2004, she served as staff NCO in the Secretariat, Public Relations, and Registry Office of the "Mircea cel Bătrân" Naval Academy, and between 2004 and 2009 she served as Records Assistant in the Planning and Procurement Office of the same institution.

In 2005, she took part in the training voyage aboard the training ship Mircea to Marmaris, Turkey.

Education and professional development

Her professional training includes: the "Use of PC/AT Microcomputers" course (2000); the Faculty of Civil Navigation, "Mircea cel Bătrân" Naval Academy (2001–2007); the "Leadership Principles Senior Enlisted" seminar (2011); a Master's degree in Management and Marketing in Transport, Ports, Free Zones and Exchanges from the "Mircea cel Bătrân" Naval Academy; and the Command Adviser Course, held in 2015 at the "Admiral Ion Murgescu" Naval Forces Warrant Officers School.

Activity within the Maritime Hydrographic Directorate

On 15 October 2009, she was appointed Command Adviser for Warrant Officers and NCO Affairs within the Maritime Hydrographic Directorate "Comandor Alexandru Cătuneanu." In 2016, she was appointed Command Master Chief within the same institution.

Association involvement

Since 2012, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of the "Tomis" branch of the Romanian Army Charity Association "CAMARAZII."

Awards

In recognition of her outstanding contribution and the professionalism demonstrated throughout her career, she has been awarded the following national distinctions:

• Honorary Sign "In the Service of the Country" for 15 years of service (2004)
• Honorary Sign "In the Service of the Country" for 20 years of service (2009)
• Honorary Sign "In the Service of the Country" for 25 years of service (2014)
• Romanian Army Honorary Emblem with Peace Insignia (2024)

She is married and has two daughters.
